How do I order medicines from PS Medicos?
Ordering is simple! You have three options:

Can I order medicines without a prescription?
Yes, for all over-the-counter (OTC) and non-prescription medicines, you can order freely without any prescription. However, for Schedule H and H1 drugs (marked "Rx Required"), a valid prescription from a licensed doctor is mandatory as per Indian pharmacy regulations. We take medicine safety very seriously.

Can I order medicines for someone else, like a family member?
Absolutely. You can order medicines on behalf of your family members, parents, or anyone who needs them. Just provide the patient's name and the prescription (where required) when placing the order. We'll deliver it to your specified address.
How fast is your home delivery?
We offer free home delivery in just 10–15 minutes* within Sarwal and nearby areas of Jammu — making us one of the fastest medicine delivery services in the region. Our goal is to get your medicines to you before anxiety sets in.

Is home delivery completely free? Any hidden charges?
Yes, home delivery is 100% FREE — no hidden charges, no delivery fees, no minimum order required. The price you see for the medicine is the price you pay. We believe delivery should never be a barrier to getting the care you need.

How do I track my medicine order?
Since our deliveries are done in 10–15 minutes, real-time tracking is usually not required. However, if you'd like an update on your order, simply WhatsApp us your order details and we'll give you an instant status update. Our team is always just a message away.
How do I share my prescription with you?
Sharing your prescription is easy:

Do you accept digital or e-prescriptions?
Yes, we accept both physical and digital prescriptions. A clear photograph of a handwritten prescription, a scanned copy, or a prescription issued digitally by a licensed doctor (via telemedicine) are all accepted. The prescription must clearly show the doctor's name, registration number, date, and the patient's name.
What if I don't have a prescription for a medicine I need?
For OTC (over-the-counter) medicines, no prescription is needed. However, for prescription-only (Rx) drugs, we are legally required to have a valid prescription on file before dispensing. We cannot dispense Rx medicines without a prescription — this is for your safety. We recommend consulting a doctor first, which can also be done online via a telemedicine platform.
Can I set up automatic monthly refills for chronic medicines?
Yes! If you take medicines regularly for conditions like diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, or other chronic illnesses, just WhatsApp us your long-term prescription and let us know your preferred refill schedule. We'll remind you and dispatch your medicines automatically each month so you never run out.
What are generic medicines and are they safe to use?
Generic medicines contain the exact same active ingredient, in the same dosage and strength, as their branded counterparts. They are tested, regulated, and approved by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) in India.
The only difference is the price — generics can be up to 50% cheaper because manufacturers don't spend on branding and advertising. They are equally safe, equally effective, and equally reliable.

You are always entitled to ask your doctor, "Is there a generic equivalent for this medicine?" You can also ask our pharmacist to suggest a generic alternative for any branded medicine you've been prescribed.

Do you offer a credit account or monthly billing for regular customers?
Yes, for our regular monthly customers (especially those managing chronic conditions), we do offer a credit account facility where you can pick up medicines throughout the month and settle the bill at month-end. Please visit our store or contact us to discuss this arrangement.
Will I always get the best prices at PS Medicos?
We are committed to the best prices in Jammu. Our buying relationships with distributors and our focus on stocking genuine medicines at fair margins means you get more medicine for every rupee. If you ever find a lower price for the same medicine at another licensed pharmacy, do let us know — we'll do our best to match it.
Can I return medicines if I ordered the wrong product?
We accept returns for medicines that are unopened, in original packaging, and not a temperature-sensitive product. Please note that medicines are regulated products — once opened or used, they cannot be returned for safety and hygiene reasons. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery to initiate a return.
What if I receive a wrong or damaged product?
We sincerely apologise if this happens — it is very rare at PS Medicos. If you receive a wrong product or a damaged item, please:
1. Take a photo of the product immediately.
2. WhatsApp us the photo and your order details.
3. We will dispatch the correct product immediately and arrange pickup of the wrong item — at absolutely no cost to you.

How long does a refund take to process?
Once a return is approved and the product is picked up, refunds are processed within 1–3 business days to your original payment method (UPI, card, or bank account). For cash payments, we offer an immediate cash refund or store credit — your choice. We'll notify you via WhatsApp once your refund is processed.
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
Yes, you can cancel your order before it is dispatched. Since we deliver in 10–15 minutes, the window is short — please call or WhatsApp us immediately after placing the order if you need to cancel. If the order has already been dispatched, please refer to our return policy above.
